Hi, are you still around?
I did a quick search today, of any Hohls family names in Norway.
And I found this link of yours - referencing:
Johann Heinrich Hohls b 30.Mar.1842, d 26.Sep.1911
If this is indeed factually correct - it means my ancestors family came from Norway.
Johann Heinrich Hohls is referenced in my family tree.
wow i think i maybe saw something once too. Not sure about it. I suppose maybe some fled through to norway and stayed?
I will check the death locations here http://www.online-ofb.de/namelist.php?nachname=HOHLS&ofb=soltau&modus=&lang=de
and the celle nord celle west celle south etc. and the meta search. and of course hoels spelling variations.
